Stats & Comments

Because of the restricted space at the front of the car, the intercooler is smaller than needed. Due to the high inlet charge temperature the ignition was retarded by the ECU. This reduced the amount of power otherwise possible with this engine.

The run was performed in 5th gear because of a lack of traction in 4th gear. This meant that more power was lost through the transmission. The operator estimated that the power figure in 4th gear would have been around 280 bhp.
